GoBrahma Productions tells the Story of Paschimavahini Krishna Temple!

GoBrahma presented 'Paschimavahini Krishna' at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bengaluru.

The two shows on the same day were a tremendous success! It received many 'rave' comments! A show with a lot of technology! Big crowds, many small entrepreneurs were encouraged to display their wares. It was an event!  And it was very special!

Founder Roopa, when I went across to congratulate her, threw me a real challenge! She asked me 'Are you writing a blog?'  I said 'yes, in my own style!'  Roopa is my cousin sister's daughter! More about her later!

There is plenty of information available on the web about GoBrahma Productions! I could just copy and paste all that into this blog! I am old fashioned! While pictures speak a thousand words, I rather write them!

An earlier premier show based on Paschimavahini.  Whispers of the river and the tree! -an enchanting tale of Paschimavahini Krishna presented by GoBrahma was equally inspiring!

I had no clue what to expect of the show! I could not believe namma Bengaluru had a place like 'Prestige Center of Performing Arts (PCPA). Also no idea that my niece, an advocate had ventured into performing arts, have a premier show which can only be termed 'audacious!'  The team deserved all the applause they got for the 'technologically enhanced theatrical spectacle'  show which involved 100 talented artists!

The show at Chowdiah Hall focused on the temple. The story of temple coming into existence 200 years ago and how the family, the descendants, have continued to be part of the temple activities.

Activities at Chowdiah Hall before the show!

More about GoBrahma Productions!            I suggest a quick look at the types of technology used. You see a show similar to a Broadway show is now here in India! They deserve all the support to make their venture a success. You can look for more information about them in Face book, Instagram and YouTube

Roopa while appreciative of the many people who worked with her, likes to thank the family which encouraged her and also did their bit in helping to develop the Krishnatemple story.

She said 'Raajeev was the resource person for the story of the temple. Bhushan and Rajeev had many calls before the first show to figure out the storyline.'

About the temple and the family

It is heartening to see the younger generation of the family involved in continuing the family tradition. They are greatly helped by Yahtiraj Mutt in following our traditions!

Interesting that the family has  spread well within India, a few are Paschima Vasis (They live in  the West). In fact Roopa and Naganand chose to get back to India from USA.

Roopa as a part of the family, is a member of the trust and is actively involved in the temple activities. The Paschimavahini Krishna temple the family trust, SVKSSS.   continues the tradition of Tulamasa. This year it is from October 17 to Nov 15. Any help offered is appreciated!

The blog acknowledges the tremendous effort this group has put in a challenging task Please comment if you like to!

I am happy to share a comment on my earlier blog. There is hope for footfalls which Rajeev keeps dreaming.

I quote

"Recently I had been to Ranganathittu and on the way back , our auto driver said about this temple and I got down and took some pictures. But could not go inside the temple. But searched about this in the net and got to see your post that I was excited to get the history directly from the family member whose great great grandfather had built it. I am writing in the blog in tamil.

In fact I have marked this temple to visit next time going inside and around.

Thanks and happy to see the information

Remaking India. The answer to tyranny and passing of an era!

Wonder why Indira Gandhi ended the emergency and declared an imminent election? Many reasons are given. It was the advisors, spiritual gurus...
